Head Coach - Joe Henrich
Coach Henrich is entering his sixth season as Head Coach at Bethlehem Catholic after taking a leave of absence in 2016.  In 2014, Coach Henrich guided the Golden Hawks to their second consecutive District XI 3A Championship. In 2013, Coach Henrich was Nike Eastern PA AAA Coach of the Year and served as the Head Coach of the Gold Squad in the 2014 McDonald’s Lehigh Valley All-Star Classic. Since arriving as the Head Coach in 2011, the Golden Hawks are 44-29 with three District Championship, one EPC Championship and three state playoff appearances.  He is a 1991 graduate of Emmaus High School where he was a 2-time All-Conference player and a participant in the McDonald’s All-Star Classic.  He continued his football career at the University of Connecticut where he was a starting center.  His coaching career began in 1995 at the University of Redlands, in Redlands, California as a Graduate Assistant.  In 1997, he was hired as the Defensive Coordinator at Western Connecticut State University.  He returned to the Lehigh Valley in 1998 to join the Muhlenberg College staff and helped lead them to their first non-losing season in eight years.  Coach Henrich then spent the next two years as the Defensive Coordinator at Albright College.  After a brief stint at Northampton High School, Coach Henrich returned to Muhlenberg and helped lead the Mules to a 10-2 mark and the second round of the NCAA playoffs for the first time in school history.  In 2003, Coach Henrich settled back into the high school ranks, serving two years as the Defensive Coordinator at Freedom, one season as the Special Teams Coordinator at Bethlehem Catholic, and five years as Defensive Coordinator at Emmaus.  During his tenure at Emmaus, the Green Hornets defense finished in the top two in the LVC in points allowed three times and in the top two in PIAA Class 4A twice.  In 2008, the Emmaus defense ranked second in the state with a 5.9 points allowed per game average.  Coach Henrich was instrumental in guiding Emmaus to 3 Eastern Conference Playoff appearances including one championship and two PIAA playoff appearances.  Coach Henrich currently serves as the Director of Admissions at Bethlehem Catholic and resides in Bethlehem with his wife of eighteen years, Monica, and their three boys, Alexander, Ryan and Trey.

Coach Miller comes to Bethlehem Catholic after serving as Head Coach at Bangor High School.  Prior to that he was the Defensive Coordinator at Lehighton High School for three years.  At Lehighton, Coach Miller was part of a program that made the District XI playoffs two years in a row after competing in the former Mountain Valley Conference and the Anthracite Conference.  Before coordinating the defense at Lehighton, Coach Miller was the Defensive Coordinator at Dieruff High School for three years.  Prior to Dieruff High School, he coached at the collegiate level for five years at Muhlenberg College.  At Muhlenberg, Coach Miller was the Outside Linebackers Coach and Co-Special Teams Coordinator where he helped the Mules win three Centennial Conference Championships and advance in the NCAA Division III playoffs.  Coach Miller, started his coaching career at Northampton High School for one year, as Special Teams Coordinator and Linebackers Coach, helping the Konkrete Kids make the district XI playoffs.  Coach Miller is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University where he played Linebacker for the Warriors.  Coach Miller is a Physical Education Teacher in the Northampton Are School District and resides in Whitehall.
Coach Searfass is in his seventh year as a coach at Bethlehem Catholic and will serve as the Hawks offensive coordinator for the second year. His previous coaching experience was at Emmaus High School where he coached quarterbacks and punters for three seasons.  Jeffrey was a 4 year letter winner at Freedom High School where he played quarterback and punter.  He is also a 2008 graduate of King’s College where he continued his playing career at quarterback and punter.

Coach Saeger is entering his first season with Bethlehem Catholic after 14 years of coaching at East Stroudsburg North High School.  At North he was the Offensive Coordinator for the previous 10 years and Assistant Defensive Coordinator for the last 8. He will be coaching the safeties at Bethlehem Catholic.  Coach Saeger played Safety in college at East Stroudsburg University and helped the Warriors win a PSAC East Championship on 2002.    
Coach Rice is a 1976 graduate of Freedom HS, where he was captain of the baseball and football teams.  He brings over 30 years of coaching experience to the varsity staff.  Coach Rice has coached at just about every level including, youth, middle school, freshmen, high school and semi-pro.  Coach was the Head Freshmen Coach for Coach Henrich for the past 5 years before being elevated to Varsity RB coach and Head JV Coach. In addition to coaching football, Coach Rice has served on the Girls Basketball staff, Field Hockey staff and Track & Field staff.  He currently is the Head Coach for the Boys and Girls Track & Field Program.  Coach Rice retired in 2014 from the City of Bethlehem after 30 years as a supervisor in the Public Works Department.  He resides in Bethlehem with his wife Cindi. They are the parents of four children; Kirra, Boomer, Matthew & Kolin and have one grandson, Finn River Rice.

Coach Parham is the former member of the Liberty High School, LV Steelhawks, and Trenton Freedom coaching staffs. Coach Parham served as the Defensive Line coach at Liberty and the  Offensive/ Defensive Line Coach with the Steelhawks and the Freedom with most of his players moving on to a higher level. James Parham hails from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and graduated from Bethlehem Catholic in 1996 with a full Athletic scholarship to the Uni of Akron. In High School and College, Coach Parham was All Area, All District, All League, All State, All Conference, and All American offensive lineman for Grossmont College(JC), Texas A&M University Kingsville. Coach Parham played many years of indoor football in the AFL, AF2. Coach Parham is a student of the game and of the Offensive Line. He attends many Offensive Line Clinics throughout the year and also coaches some OL camps. Coach Parham is also the OL coach for the FCS Bowl held every Dec in Daytona Fla and the Head Coach for the Globe Bowl held every Jan also in Daytona Fla. Coach Parham resides in Bethlehem, PA where he is a Union Ironworker he lives with his Fiancé Heather and their three sons.  

Coach Moussa is entering his 12th year of coaching, 3rd season with the Bethlehem Catholic coaching staff. His previous coaching experience started with the Emmaus Football program form middle school to Varsity. 2004-2006 Coach Moussa was an assistant coach / Defensive Coordinator at the Emmaus Middle school program. 2007-2009 Coach Moussa advanced to Assistant coach of the Freshman program and also was the Defensive Coordinator. In 2010-2012 coach Moussa was Varsity Defensive line Coach at Emmaus High School. Larry is joining us from Whitehall, where was has been an Outside Linebacks coach from 2013-2015. Larry is 2004 graduate of  Whitehall High School where he played Defensive End/ Tight End. Larry is going on his 13th year of employment  at Mack Trucks inc.
This will be Coach Kohler’s first season with the Golden Hawks but he has coached in the Lehigh Valley for more than 40 years. He spent three years at the high school level and 38 at the college level (Kutztown University, Muhlenberg College, and Moravian College); coaching all positions throughout his career. He has coached 12 All-Americans, scores of All-Conference players, coached in nine NCAA Division III National Championship Tournaments, and four Eastern Collegiate Conference Division III Bowl games. Kohler has spent six years coaching at a professional arena level with the Lehigh Valley Outlawz, New Jersey Revolution, and Trenton Freedom where he was the defensive coordinator.
In 2013 and 2014, he also served as the Head Coach for the Lehigh Valley Storm Minor League football team where he amassed a 22-5 record, 2 Conference Championships, and advanced to the National Championship game in Memphis, TN. Kohler was recently inducted into the Lehigh Valley Sports Hall of Fame. He has a son and daughter, as well as three grand children; and he is a retired Public School Teacher/Administrator from the Allentown School District.

Coach Tennyson is entering his fifth season as a coach at Bethlehem Catholic. In 2017 he will serve as the Hawks H-back and TE coach.  His previous coaching experience includes three years with the Notre Dame - Green Pond youth program and three years as the O-Line coach for Gilmour Academy HS in Ohio, where he developed four All-Conference linemen.  During his collegiate career, Coach Tennyson was a 4-year letterman at Kenyon College.  He played fullback and linebacker, helping the team win a co-championship in the North Coast Athletic Conference.   Coach Tennyson resides in Easton, Pa with his wife , son Scott and daughter Victoria.
